NEW: Chicken Wrap


In this 1-class project, students will learn the key culinary skills needed for preparing a Grilled Chicken & Strawberry Wrap.  Throughout the process, student will practice Safe Food Handling, Ingredient Prep, Layering Techniques, and Knife Safety (i.e. plastic). With guidance from an EM Instructor, students explore the nutritional value of each ingredient, gaining a deeper understanding of how lean Protein, Fruits, and Whole Grains contribute to a balanced diet.

NEW: Kids' Charcuterie Board


Students will create their own Kid’s Charcuterie Board during this 1-class project, learning essential Food Prep and Presentation Skills along the way. As they Slice, Arrange, and Pair Ingredients like Fruits, Cheeses, Crackers, Veggies, and Protein-rich snacks, students get to explore the nutritional value of each component and how to build a balanced, visually appealing plate. Ultimately, this project encourages Creativity, Portion Awareness, and hands-on kitchen confidence, making healthy eating both accessible and exciting for young chefs.

NEW: Strawberry Dessert


During this 1-class project, students will prepare a no-bake Strawberry Dessert while learning essential kitchen skills such as Measuring, Mixing, Layering, and Safe Food Handling.  Additionally, students explore the Nutritional Value of strawberries and complementary ingredients, gaining insight into how fruits can be used to create healthier sweet options. Objectively, this project is designed to blend Culinary Creativity with a lesson in Balanced Eating, giving students a fun, flavorful introduction to smart snacking and dessert preparation.

Pizza Wraps


There's more than one way to make a pizza!  Using traditional ingredients such as Mozzarella Cheese, Onions, Tomatoes, and More, students (i.e. with guidance from our on-campus EM Instructor) will learn how to make a flavor-filled Pizza Wrap.

Waffle Cone Fruit Cups


Consisting of gluten-free Waffle Cones, Chocolate Chips, Strawberries, Grapes, and other delicious fruits, this cooking activities brings Fun & Healthy eating center stage.  With direction from our on-campus EM Instructor, this class covers Kitchen Safety as well as the difference between Natural Sugars vs Processed Sugars by making Waffle Cone Fruit Cups.

Salad Wraps


Don't let the word salad fool you!  This just might be the Tastiest wrap that students have ever made and eaten.  With guidance from our on-campus EM Instructor, students will discover the nutritional value of Whole Grains, Fruits, and Vegetables.  Students will begin by making their own Homemade Dressing, followed by learning how to combine Brown Rice, Lettuce, Quinoa, Cherry Tomatoes, Chia Seeds, Gluten-Free Wraps, and other healthy ingredients in order to make an unforgettable Salad Wrap.

No-Bake Oreo Layered Cake


Sweet Treat is the name of the game for this class.  With direction from our on-campus EM Instructor, this class covers the differences between the Five Major Food Groups.  Focusing on the Dairy Food Group, students will use ingredients such as Cream Cheese, Chocolate, Pudding, Whip Cream, and of course, Oreos in order to grasp what makes a food part of the Dairy category by making their own Oreo-Layered Cake.
