In this 1-class project, students will capture the mood and motion of a rainy day within their Walking In The Rain painting. Through the use of Opaque Layering, Dry Brushing, Blending, and Texture Creation, students will learn how to depict reflections, raindrops, and puddles with Realism and Emotion. Ultimately, students will develop skills in Brush Selection, Pressure Control, and Compositional Balance that help them gain more confidence artistic skill and creativity.

Watercolor Ice Cream Cone Artwork
Students will learn key Artistic Concepts during this 1-class project, such as Color Mixing, Warm and Cool Tones, and Complementary Colors in order to create a vibrant Watercolor Ice Cream Cone painting. Through guidance from an EM Instructor, they’ll learn how to effectively use Shading to give Volume to scoops (essentially making them appear deliciously three-dimensional).

Breached Orca Artwork
During this 1-class project, students will learn how to use Blending, Shading, and Brush Control techniques to create a Breached Orca Whale painting that incorporates black, white, and blue tones. As students recreate the Orca’s bold patterns and graceful curves, they gain a deeper understanding of Shape, Symmetry, and the efficient use of limited Color Palettes.
Van Gogh Starry Night Artwork
In this class, students are introduced to Post-Impressionist Art and learn the importance of Texture, Color, and Movement in painting by creating their own rendition of Van Gogh’s famous "Starry Night".
Andy Warhol Donut Artwork
In this class, students will create their own Donut-Themed Pop Art, inspired by Andy Warhol, using bright colors and bold designs. This activity introduces kids to the Pop Art Movement and encourages them to embrace Vibrant Color Schemes and Repetitive Patterns to make their artwork stand out.
Kandinsky Abstract Artwork
In this class, students will explore the world of Abstract Art. This activity encourages self-expression and experimentation with colors, shapes, and techniques, resulting in a unique piece of art that showcases their creativity.
