NEW: Motion Blur Photography
In this 1-class project, students will explore how to intentionally use Motion Blur Photography to capture images that convey Direction, Speed, and Flow. By adjusting Shutter Speed and observing movement, students transform everyday actions into expressive visual stories. This project strengthens their understanding of Photographic Technique and Composition, while encouraging artistic experimentation.
NEW: Shadow Photography
During this exploratory 1-class project, students will learn about the dynamic relationship between Light and Shadow by capturing striking images that highlight Form, Space, and Contrast. As they experiment with natural and artificial light sources, students develop key Technical Photography Skills while gaining a deeper conceptual understanding of Light Behavior, Spatial Awareness, and the power of Visual Storytelling.

Photographing A Toy Story
This 1-class project will teach students how to use toys to design and photograph their own imaginative scenes of an original Toy Story—bringing stories to life through visual storytelling. Whether Posing action figures, building miniature Backdrops, or crafting Narratives, students engage in a dynamic blend of Art, Literacy, and Digital Media. Ultimately, they develop Creative Thinking, Fine Motor Skills, and Foundational Photography Techniques, all while exploring the connection between images and storytelling.
Stop Motion Photography
Students will learn and practice stop motion photography techniques using cameras. This activity will introduce them to the basics of stop motion animation, allowing them to create their own short animations by capturing sequential photographs of objects or drawings.
Photo Nature Hunt
In this class, students will discover nature and photography with a fun Nature Hunt. They will identify insects, reptiles, flowers, and more.
Reflection Photography
In this class, students will learn and practice the fundamentals and techniques used in Reflection Photography. This activity will introduce them to capturing artistic and visually interesting photos using reflective surfaces, enhancing their understanding of Composition, Light, and Perspective.
