Engineering
Students in K – 5th Grade learn about Thermodynamics, Kinetics, Mechanics, and Force in order to build Constructs (e.g. Roller Coasters) and Mechanized Items (e.g. Pneumatic Machines).
Cooking
Students in K – 5th Grade learn about Food Groups, Nutritional Values, Cooking Techniques, and Kitchen Safety in order to make Desserts, Salads, and tasty Meals.
Photography
Students in K – 5th Grade learn photography fundamentals such as, Camera Operation, Film Exposure, Processing, Basic Lighting, Editing, and Printing in order to create elementary-level photographic art pieces that cover a variety of genres such as, Macro Photography Portrait Photography, Landscape Photography, and more.
Sketching & Painting
Students in K – 5th Grade not only learn Sketching, Sight Drawing, Stippling, Hatching, Storyboarding, and other Artistic Techniques, but they also learn Texture, Colors, Underpainting, Dry Brushing, and other Painting Techniques in order to create Comic Book Issues, Cartoons, and Manga as well as paint Portraits, Landscapes, Abstracts, and other art pieces.
Robotics
Students in K – 5th Grade learn about Electronics, Kinetics, Mechanics, Force, and Programming in order to assemble Robots.
Home-Ec
Students in K – 5th Grade learn about Interior Design, Finances, Nutrition, Apparel, and Food Preparation in order to create Decorative items, Sew Fabrics, Pep Meals, and more.
Pottery
Students in K – 5th Grade learn about learn about Slip and Score, Pinching, Glazes, Texture, and other techniques in order to make Flower Pots, Mugs, Bowls, and other art pottery & ceramic art pieces.
Science
Students in K – 5th Grade learn to use the Scientific Method in order to test Hypotheses as well as conduct a succession of fun and intriguing science experiments in the fields of Biology, Physics, Geology, and more.
